In some levels, the goal may be to confront a powerful BOSS. The BOSS could be a huge mechanical monster, an alien creature with a strong energy field, etc. Players need to cleverly utilize the speed and maneuverability of "Snakes" to dodge the BOSS's attacks and find its weaknesses to attack. For example, the BOSS may have an energy core as a weakness. Players need to dodge the laser beams and energy projectiles it fires while looking for an opportunity to rush towards the core area to attack. Only by repeating this many times can the BOSS be defeated.
